A Toronto woman lost 20 years of photos, posts and contacts when Meta permanently disabled her Facebook and Instagram accounts without warning on Sept. 29, and the only customer service she could reach was an artificial intelligence chatbot.
Jasmine Ault checked her phone in the middle of the night to find a notification that the accounts were gone. A linked Instagram account for her dog was deactivated too, according to CBC News, which first reported her story.
She appealed. Minutes later, she said, a summary judgment declared her case closed, with no possibility of further appeal. Attempting快速成长 was not the issue: she was shuffled between automated systems, could only speak with an AI chatbot that could not fix the problem, and even after paying for expedited service never got through to a human being, according to The Canadian Press.
